Whether you want to move to another city, another state, or another country, if you and your former spouse (or other parent if you were never married) have one or more minor children together, you MUST follow the specific procedure set forth in the Florida statutes.

If you fail to comply with the law relating to relocation, you could lose custody of your child(ren).

Under certain circumstances, you might even be accused of kidnaping.
